Activities

We are happy to assist with information about local activities, including hiking, sightseeing tours, horseriding, hot-air balloon flights and cooking and art workshops. We can also arrange airport transfers, private tours and car-hire on request.

Hot Air Balloon Flight

The crazy lunarscape of Cappadocia is best viewed from above, from a hot air balloon; as you float majestically over rippling ridges, dipping into valleys and admiring the strange rock formations, you will understand why this truly is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. With such high demand for this activity we do recommend that you book well in advance.

Red Tour

Discover the highlights of North Cappadocia: the frescoed churches of the Goreme Open Air Museum, Devrent and Paşabağ valleys and their fantastic rock formations and fairy chimneys. The tour also visits Avanos, home to a terracotta tradition dating back to the Hittites c.3000 BC., where you can try your hand at throwing a pot on a potter's wheel. The last stop is Uçhisar Castle, the highest point of Cappadocia.

Green Tour

Explore the rolling green valleys of South Cappadocia on this day trip. Hike through the lush natural gorge of Ihlara valley, well-known for the rock-hewn churches and chapels which line the river banks. Clamber up to the 8th-10th century Selime Monastery and admire the views. Explore the Underground City at Derinkuyu, an 8-storey underground settlement carved out of the rock.

Horse-riding

What better way to explore the winding valleys and paths of Cappadocia than on horseback? Discover the fascinating rock formations, the local orchards and traditional vineyards. Horseback riding tours can be arranged for one hour to multi-day trail rides and are suitable for beginners & all riding levels.

ATV Tour

ATV excursions are an exciting, fun and adventurous way to see Cappadocia. You discover the unique, spectacular valleys of Cappadocia giving you an opportunity to experience a thrilling quad safari of one hour, two hours or one day. No need for a driver's licence or even to know how to drive, this is an adventure sport which is very entertaining. After having a short safety lesson about how to ride an ATV quad bike and a brief training, you will be able to go out with your guide.
